Coastal Calm at Mount Maunganui

The Mount Maunganui showroom captures the serene, organic atmosphere that defines Kayu Studio. The space features our Ripple 47 Primed Panel, a finish that brings rhythm and softness while enhancing the natural tones and tactile styling choices.

Every detail in the space works in quiet harmony. Clean lines, layered textures, and neutral tones create a space that feels grounded, calm, and elevated.

Kayu Casa: An Immersive Living Space

Above the showroom sits Kayu Casa, a fully styled apartment that offers more than just aesthetic appeal.

With its open-plan lounge, sunlit dining area, and well-equipped kitchen, Kayu Casa invites guests to unwind in a space designed for calm and connection. The master bedroom, complete with plush linen and thoughtful styling, continues this theme of comfort-meets-craft.

A Bold Contrast: The Auckland Showroom

In contrast to the coastal calm, Kayu Studio’s Auckland showroom introduces a bolder, yet equally refined, design. Here we used Peak 27 Flex in Black Walnut, a finish that flows smoothly across curved surfaces and adds depth with its rich tone.

This fit-out balances contrast and cohesion. The warm hues of Black Walnut anchor the space, while fluid forms reflect Kayu’s focus on soft, organic design language.
